As summer edges closer, life around Lake Almanor begins to shift into high gear—and May of 2025 is no exception. The days feel fuller, the lake feels livelier, and time seems to evaporate faster than ever. On the personal front, there’s plenty to celebrate: one of my granddaughters is nearing her fourth birthday in June, and our younger granddaughter is nearing her first in July. These milestones are beautiful reminders of how quickly time moves—and how full life can be. There’s joy in every corner, but I’ll admit, I sometimes wonder how to fit it all in.
Amidst the celebrations and seasonal busyness, I’m still carving out moments to create videos. That said, summer may tug my attention elsewhere with family visits, outdoor projects, and a calendar that’s quickly filling up. If you’ve been enjoying these weekly missives and would miss them during a summer slowdown, I’d truly love to hear from you. Your feedback means a lot and helps me prioritize what to keep in the mix. There is a form at the bottom of this page.
This week, I’ve got four new videos I’m excited to share—well, technically five. One of them is a reworked version of an older piece I’ve always liked. I replaced the original narration with my own voice to see how it changes the overall tone and feel. It’s a bit of an experiment, and I’d really appreciate your thoughts: Which version speaks to you more? Do you connect more with the original, or does the updated narration bring something new to the table?
My video, “I Will Help You,” has remained one of my personal favorites since I first created it. Set against peaceful drone footage of tranquil, tropical landscapes, it pairs quiet, visual beauty with a heartfelt message I imagine Jesus might speak directly to us. These words first spoke deeply to me—and my hope is that they’ll meet you with the same comfort and reassurance, especially in moments when you most need it.
Recently, I decided to revisit this piece and try something new: I replaced the original AI-generated narration with my own voice. Sometimes a personal touch can bring out deeper emotion or add a more intimate feel to a message like this. I’d love for you to watch both versions below and let me know your thoughts. Does hearing my voice add something meaningful to the experience? Or do you prefer the original narration? Your feedback will help me shape how I move forward with future projects.
Here is the original version, featuring AI-generated narration:
I Will Help You (Original)
Bring Him your struggles, your emptiness, your fears—He is more than enough. The Father’s wisdom, the Son’s love, and the Spirit’s power are yours. Rest in His promise today: “I am your God, and I will help you.”
Let these moments of stillness lead your soul into trust and peace.

And here is the updated version, now featuring my own voice:
I Will Help You (New Narration)
Bring Him your struggles, your emptiness, your fears—He is more than enough. The Father’s wisdom, the Son’s love, and the Spirit’s power are yours. Rest in His promise today: “I am your God, and I will help you.”
Let these moments of stillness lead your soul into trust and peace.

In this new version, I wanted to bring a more personal tone to the message—something warmer and more human. My hope is that it feels like a quiet conversation between you and the heart of Christ. I’d be truly grateful if you’d take a moment to watch both and let me know which one speaks to you more deeply.
And now, on to the new:
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just the heart of the Christian faith—it is the pulse that gives it life. My new video, “Risen,” explores this foundational truth through Scripture and vivid visual imagery. From the empty tomb to the promise of our own resurrection, this piece is a meditation on the power, purpose, and personal significance of Christ rising from the dead. Layered with modern visuals and Scripture-based narration, “Risen” is meant to stir both the heart and the mind. I hope it leads you to reflect, rejoice, and rest in the living hope we have because Jesus is alive.
“He is not here. He has risen.” — Luke 24:6
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of Christian faith. Without it, the message of the gospel loses its meaning. But because Christ is risen, our hope is alive.
This short meditation video weaves together biblical truth and rich, symbolic visuals—from the empty tomb at dawn to the promise of our own resurrection yet to come. Let these scenes draw you deeper into the awe of what the resurrection means:
Christ’s victory over death
Our justification and spiritual rebirth
The unshakable promise of eternal life
Featuring Scriptures from 1 Corinthians, Romans, and 1 Peter, Risen invites you to reflect on the power and beauty of a risen Savior who is alive today—and forevermore.
Let this be more than a remembrance. Let it be a revival of hope.

In a world that constantly shifts—where dreams fade, promises break, and even the strongest things falter—there remains One who never changes. Jesus Christ is our unwavering anchor, our faithful refuge. When everything else falls away, His presence is still enough. This is a reminder for every heart searching for stability and hope: anchor your life in the One who holds you fast and walks with you all the way home.
He Is Enough
When the world feels unsteady and everything familiar fades, there is One who remains—Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever.
This video is a visual meditation on what it means to find your security, joy, and hope in the eternal rather than the temporary.
He never changes.
He never leaves.
He is always enough.
Whether you’re walking through loss, hardship, or just feeling the weight of life’s uncertainty, this message is for you. Fix your eyes on the One who is faithful forever.
